Four Ways to Enjoy Winter in the Black Hills

Having a bleak winter might be an accurate statement for some locations, but not when you stay at Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort in Deadwood, South Dakota. Deadwood is the central hub for all of your winter activities.

For downhill skiing and snowboarding, hit the slopes at Deer Mountain or Terry Peak Ski Area. Both parks are located just minutes from Cadillac Jack’s and offer a winter attraction for all.

Braaaap! Do you enjoy dashing over miles of marked, mapped & groomed snowmobile trails? There are over 350 miles of trails throughout the Black Hills National Forest surrounding Cadillac Jack’s for you to explore. Don’t forget about the annual Deadwood Snocross Pro Races that are held across the street at the Days of ’76 Rodeo Grounds, January 24 and 25. Book a Deadwood Snocross room package with us to receive 2 tickets to the races and more! After the races, join us at FLYT Nightclub for a snow-tacular after party you won’t forget with LIVE music by Tie Dye Volcano on January 25!

If you are looking for something a bit more serene, try snowshoeing throughout Spearfish Canyon, just minutes away from our resort.

Have some winter fun on a pair of skates at Outlaw Square in Deadwood, SD. Every day, from 3pm-8pm, you can rent a pair of skates and test your luck in the brand new downtown outdoor ice rink. While you are there, be sure to check out the upcoming events that Deadwood will be hosting.

The Black Hills of South Dakota offer a vast variety of winter activities and Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort in Deadwood is the perfect place to get a room in order to enjoy them all.
